Introduce your self and ask them their name.Simple stuff.Try to come off as a nice person by non verbally communicating as well.Smiling works.(No touching or hugging).Just start off by asking them basic stuff, within reason.Also, try to avoid awkward silences.That's what fucked me up.

How do I avoid akward silences? I just end up telling them a bunch of uninteresting shit if I try and keep up the conversation inorganically.
